Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of InstantSubmit (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use InstantSubmit

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK), have the legal capacity to enter a contract, and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. What we provide

InstantSubmit accepts a description from you, uses an AI agent to research the web and generate a PowerPoint or Word document, and delivers the finished file to your account. Generation typically completes in minutes. We do not guarantee any particular turnaround time, output accuracy, grade, or outcome.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts and files you submit, and of the documents we generate for you. You grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and process that content solely to operate the Service for you (including through our subprocessors listed in the Privacy Policy). We do not train AI models on your content and we do not use it for advertising.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, academic-integrity policy, or third-party right.
  • Generate content that is harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Generate malware, phishing content, disinformation campaigns, or other content designed to harm people or systems.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or bypass the security of the Service; scrape it at scale; or disrupt its operation.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a standalone offering to third parties without our written agreement.

5. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Free accounts include a limited lifetime generation allowance at no cost and no card required.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance by our payment provider Dodo Payments. Prices are shown on instantsubmit.app/pricing and include any applicable taxes where required.
  • Each plan grants a monthly allowance of generations. Unused generations do not roll over unless explicitly stated. Large jobs may consume more than one unit from your allowance based on output size.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price. You can cancel anytime from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — your plan stays active until then.
  • If payment fails we may retry and, after a grace period, downgrade your account to the free plan.

6. Refunds

Refund terms are set out in our separate Refund Policy. In short: mandatory statutory refund rights (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for first-time purchases) are always honoured; discretionary refunds are reviewed case-by-case.

7. AI output — no guarantees

AI-generated content can contain mistakes, hallucinated facts, mis-cited sources, outdated information, or low-quality passages. You are solely responsible for reviewing every generation before submitting it anywhere it matters (academic assignment, client deliverable, regulatory filing, etc.). InstantSubmit is a drafting tool, not a verified-fact service.

8. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any right in our trademarks. Generated documents belong to you, but we retain no responsibility for their copyrightability or downstream use.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your profile page or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, non-payment, or to comply with law. If you paid for a period that extends beyond the date of a not-for-cause termination by us, we will pro-rata refund the unused portion.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, and (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InstantSubmit, its officers, employees, and subprocessors from any claim, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your use of the Service, or (c) your submission or use of generated content.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which InstantSubmit is established, excluding conflicts-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except that either party may bring a claim in the other’s local courts where required by consumer-protection law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
